How to Unlock the Bushido Gear

In order to unlock the Bushido Gear you will need to complete all the Battle Cups in 'Normal' mode. This means you will need to play through the Cup Battles mode in its entirety, completing all five available cups in any order, then the sixth Championship Cup. Once you meet this requirement and the credits end, the Bushido gear will be available in Gear Settings.

Bushido gear works differently to the other gear. You can get a piece for the head, arms, body, and legs but they will cost you 300 coins each. Bushido gear will raise one stat by 4 and will reduce all other stats by -1. There is no 4 boost to shooting available with Bushido gear. Standard gear, in comparison, gives a 2 boost to a stat and a -2 reduction to one other attribute. Although 300 coins is a lot to pay for these pieces of gear the difference they can make when you play Galactic mode makes them worth investing in. Once you start playing Galactic mode, which is the game's Hard mode you will quickly discover that players are faster, the items throwing is more frequent, and trying to find space to charge are your Hyper Shot is nigh on impossible.

4 Technique, -1 Strength, -1 Speed, -1 Shooting, -1 Passing

4 Strength, -1 Speed, -1 Shooting, -1 Passing, -1 Technique

Bushido Sandals (300 Coins):

4 Speed, -1 Strength, -1 Shooting, -1 Passing, -1 Technique
