1. The gold bricks in every world are indicated on the mini-map on the upper right portion of the screen. Your character is the small blue triangle icon. Note that the tip of the triangle shows where you are currently heading. Important stuff like treasure chests and NPCs are also indicated as dots on the mini-map.

2. Try your best to discover stuff with your discovery tool whenever you encounter new stuff in new worlds. Doing this will open up new categories in your inventory tab that will give you a hint of the extent of what is to be expected in the game. You can earn different Creatures, discover outfits/look, find different Vehicles, building, etc.

3. While you’re roaming free, try opening treasure chests, as well as smashing stuff and trees as they all provide coins that you’ll need later on in the game. Additionally, you may use Vehicles with ammunition to blow things up a whole lot quicker (and earn studs).

4. Once you copy a structure with your copy tool, before saving its blueprint on your build library, you have the opportunity to customize and somewhat fine tune the blueprint by adding or removing bricks from the copied structure. Try this out before saving the blueprint.

5. See that faint glimmer/streak of light from the sky to the ground? Dig through it using the landscape tool until you find something that would interest you. Most of the time, there would be underground pockets or caves that houses more than one treasure chest. These chests contain assortments of bricks, weapons, Blueprints, or sometimes even gold bricks.

6. Once you find yourself stuck at any time inside caverns and underground pockets (which you’d most likely be having troubles with), especially when opening treasure chests in tight spots, go to your menu page and pick the “Sky Dive” option on the lower left part of the screen indicated by a parachute icon to get you free falling again into the current world you are in.

7. Mind the callouts from the different Creatures and characters in the worlds too. Some Quests are much simpler than others. For instance, the pigs in this world calls out for what seems to be “ice cream” as seen on the icon. Ice cream then can be found on random boxes scattered on this world. When you obtain an ice cream, you may give it to any of the pigs and in return, you get to ride a pig.

8. Occasionally, green “troublemakers” will spawn out from the ground carrying random stuff. You may be interested in chasing them down and tackle them for the usually bring with them unique bricks for you to take and collect. Later on, these cute green monsters tend to bring out gold bricks more often.

9. Quests may randomly spawn from areas that you go to. In some instances, you’ll just have to figure it out fast in order to earn the rewards. An often example is having to save a character from other hostile Creatures or characters. You must tackle the hostiles chasing creature or character to earn a reward (oftentimes a gold brick). If by any chance you failed, another similar instance would spawn somewhere else in this world and you’ll just have to venture out there to earn it.

10. The chance you run into a light blue dot in your minimap, check it out to find a “Trader”. The trader usually has important items that you might happen to need in the mini Quests in the area, weapons, HP refills (hearts), and sometimes even rare items. Take caution though for the stuff that the trader has to offer are always pricey.

11. There are special characters in the game that whenever you wear the full costume – it grants you special abilities as well. For instance, being a "Vampire" and having the ability to transform into a bat and fly. You may trigger these abilities whenever they are needed by pressing the circle button on your controller.
