Characters / Costumes

Last Updated:
Characters are randomly found throughout game. They are a mix of NPCs which may be friendly, neutral (Quests) characters, and some that are even hostile. Friendly characters can easily be scanned with discovery tool to obtain them (or their costume), while some requires to fulfill their request before you get to discover/scan them. On the other hand, the Aggressive and Hostile Characters must be defeated in combat to be unlocked. Once unlocked, most of these new Characters must still be purchased in order to spawn them or earn their costume in your Character Customization menu.

Character Customization

You may happen to have scanned a lot of characters while playing the game and still don’t have their respective appearances in your library. That is probably because you haven’t bought them yet in your discovery tool menu. It is totally different to "earn the right" to discover/scan Creatures or characters with the discovery tool, with having to purchase them before being allowed to summon or create copies of them. Once you have purchased them though, they will be added on your library at the character customization screen.

Take note that there are special characters in the game that whenever you wear the set costume – it grants you special abilities as well. For instance, being a ghost and having the invincibility to physical attacks or sort, the vampire on the other hand can transform into a bat. You may trigger these abilities whenever they are needed by pressing the circle button on your controller.

Not limited to this, you also earn weapons as when you unlock specific character costumes. That said, you earn unique weapons by simply discovering the characters that has them in the game.
