LEGO World starts with a short Introduction – showcasing the wonderful features of Lego’s first ever full sandbox game that ultimately allows players to play Lego like how people would play the real thing. As you play through the game, you'd gradually earn special tools, lego pieces, Creatures, and all sorts of Blueprints of structures as you aim to obtain the level of a master-builder, and build yourself endless possibilities to create or re-create worlds.
As you begin your adventure, a new game state would preview an introductory video, focusing on a ship where your supposed “LEGO character” is. As luck (or bad luck) would have it, a meteorite bumps onto your ship, throwing you off out in the vastness of space and later be hailed by all sorts of space debris - which will ultimately set you falling down onto a small world.
Before you plummet down the ground, you are asked to press the triangle button which typically opens up your quick select tool toggle menu in the game. At this point in the game, you don’t have any of the master-builder tools except the character customization screen. Feel free to customize your character prior to playing the game. As soon as you finish up on the customization screen, the game proceeds by dropping you to the ground, next to your ship (which by the way also fell from the barrage of meteors in space), in a world called Pirate Playground.
While inside the world, you will have to look for Gold Bricks which will help you fix your ship, so you can go exploring more worlds in the game. Given the complex nature of this sandbox game, the task of figuring out all the necessary details to help you understand how the game is played, becomes all too tedious and a demanding one that most casual players would require some help. So we lay it all down to you step by step and guide you through the beginner's process!
