From the host sim, press the Sims tracker, find he sim you want to invite and tap on the whistle. The guest sim will appear at the front of the house. To send him back home, open the simstracker again and tap on the house of the sim you want to send home.

Press on the button in the left center. That is the sim tracker. Then you press on the whistle to all over whoever you wish to call over. You can then interact with that sim.

So click the three dots in the right corner. Tap 'download your game' and then the whistle icon should appear at the top of your device.
