Question for The Sims FreePlay

I have a family of four sims (Two adults, a toddler and a preteen) and I want to add a new baby. When I click the crib it tells me it's too crowded. This makes no sense because the house is double story and has plenty of extra room. I've been told there's a limit of four sims per house. If I move the family to a beach house will I be allowed to add more? It would make sense that you could add double the sims because it's double the size for double the price. Thanks
