When it's time for them to go to work, the game should tell you. Then you have to click on the button on the left that takes you to the list of all your Sims. There should be a briefcase with an exclamation point under the sims that can go to work. Click on this, and it should ask if you want to send this sim to work. Click yes, and they should go to work.

Mine doesn't have any briefcase! (it does but it doesn't have the exclamation point! My sim has a Job but it won't let me send him to work! HELP

Me too my sims won't go to work and the brief case still is plain and is blank. My sims have jobs and they won't go I'm in desperate need of help so my point is...HELP!

I think he's saying that when the briefcase shines, you tap on it and then it will ask you if you want to send them, tap yes, and then your Sims will go to work
