Question for The Sims FreePlay
How do you make the best friend meter bar go up? It only does if I do romantic stuff with other Sims but I don't want them to end up in a relationship because then they would be with multiple people. Please help!

I don't think there's anything after 'Best Friend'. It wont go down. I tried this with nemesis and I can't go down anymore. There's no higher level either. So I guess that's pretty much it. Best friends for life.

I think you can only make it go up after reaching level seven and doing the Love is in the Air thing. After best friend I’m pretty sure it’s partner and you can only get that by doing what I just said.

You need to get to level 7 then go onto romantic and hopefully it should work

just continually do the quests, once you get to the 'simoleon grows on plants' (or whatever its called) get to the grow watermelons, do that and then you'll get the 'love is in the air' quest. this is what happened to me if you wanna know how I know.

Omg I'm level 7! I've been trying to get the meter to go up by being nice and chest bumping but it wasn't until I was rude that it started to go up! It's sounds dumb but it works.

To prevent this from happening:
Be Funny and Be Rude repeatedly.
That way, you won't go back down to Good Friends and you'll keep going up and down alot. But it's worth it.

I went from 1% away going to Budding Romance to the BEGINNING of Good Friends. All the work of clicking down the drain. To prevent this from happening:
Be Funny and Be Rude repeatedly.
That way, you won't go back down to Good Friends and you'll keep going up and down alot. But it's worth it.

If their siblings you can go up to best friends forever and you get there by joking around gossip or soicalize

Two of my Sims are best friends, and when I use "Be Rude", their relationship bar goes up. After that, I used "Be Funny", the bar went down. Just keep using "Be Rude" and you'll get to "Budding Romance".

once you get to the best friend meter, you can do the negative actions to increase friendship, but if you do too much negative it drops your friendship level down.

Hey, if you want to know how to get the best friend Meter to move up listen here to me, I am on level 10 and have been trying this for ages then about 10 minutes ago it popped up on the screen in the app to complete the Love Is In The Air Quest, I have 2 Sims that I want to fall in love so I used them to complete the quest during the quest to get them to be romantic and stuff then the best friend meter will start to move purple even though it’s not green it still moves it up, I really helps, hope this helps you xo

Yes you can by being “Romantic” I had that question a while ago too.
