Just plug in your headphones and there will be sounds. That's what I did. And it works too. Hope I helped.

The volume on my Sims freeplay went off... I XEd out of the app, I have the volume set on high for both my iPad and from the sims volume settings... Any ideas?

i use iphone5 when i play the sims freeplay but dont have sound . please help meGuest answered:
The sound is not working for me either. I have the volume turned up but it won't let me turn up the music on the settings. Please help. Very annoying.

Maybe your ringer next to the sound is off. Try switching that on ios

If your phone is on silent, the sound won’t work, try unmuting your phone. This happened to me and unmuting my phone helped. Guest answered:
You will just have to put in headphones. The Sims freeplay used to have sound but the company must have had a moufunction in the system. So if you want to hear your sims actions you will have to plug in your headphones. If you have no headphones they sell them at any drug store,gas station etc. Hope this helped☺️

I had the same problem and it turns out it was because my iPad was on mute. Just turn the switch back on. Hope this worked. 😊

I have dealt with this just recently with my music volume not working for Sims Freeplay App for iPad. If you have your ipad device on Screen Lock, go to settings and switch it to Mute.
Make sure your device is not muted and return to the App to see if it's working now. If it is then you can raise the volume the way you want and safely reign your settings back to Screen Lock

I had the same issue on my iPad. I had to go into my settings and allow notifications from the app.
