How do you get your sims family to move into another house after the house is built? I tried moving them into a family home but it didn't work so how do you do it?

You can't move a married couple they stay in the house where they got married and if you have Children you can't have children without being married so everyone stays put. You can however remodel your house very much more cheaply than building a bigger one and get it just how you would like it..

They cannot have any action ongoing. Then you click the house and select move household
