Guest answered:

EA needs to fix this problem. I have the same one and there are no answers on any forum

Guest answered:

Same here to is there like a email I can send 2 EA because I spent way 2 much time and money on Sims!!!!

Guest answered:

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm on level 27 and there is absolutely no way I am restarting. It's been two weeks and still not working. A first, everything seems normal the it just stops at the Sims freeplay logo while the music just keeps playing. I hope the answer will be fixed by the next update.

That's the same thing that's happening with mines. I already deleted the app once but I got too far in the game

Hi. Have finally solved this problem. If you download the freeware 'ifunbox.exe' onto your PC it allows you to see the ipad as a drive when you connect via the ipad USB cable (when iTunes opens just shut down iTunes)
If you open the ipad directory then the 'applications' folder you will see the 'Sims freeplay 'folder.
Open this directory and then open the 'documents' folder.
Then open the 'savegames' directory, then open 'savegames.ssf' folder. Finally open the 'success' folder. In this folder will be files just with numbers as names. Delete the file with the highest number ,this will be the corrupted file - my one was called '17828'
Now disconnect your ipad from the computer and my Sims freeplay works from where you were before it froze up.

For iPhones go into your data and turn it off for the sims and turn off your wifi then go into the game and keep pressing okay when it comes up saying it has no data then turn the data back on and it will work!!!

I was on level 45 and thought I had all my data in my iCloud account. So I erased my Sims app and redownloaded it only to find that it didn't load all my data and now I'm on level 27. I don't recommend trying this to fix it.
