Can you switch houses that Sims are living in? How do you do it? (I want one Sim a different house, and the one in that house in another house!)

Have the Sim that you want to move, become friends with the owner of the house. Just be nice until you are at the good friends level, then you should be able to have the Sim ask to move in. Do the same thing with the other Sims you want to move.
AS Keyblade21 stated [Have the Sim that you want to move, become friends with the owner of the house. Just be nice until you are at the good friends level, then you should be able to have the Sim ask to move in.] THEN .... Click on the Sim town icon that shows you the whole town; when you are there, locate the house where the Sim just moved out, it will be empty, click on it, and a pop up comes up and asks you to move in a new Sim/relocate a Sim(if they are married or have kids, relocate {Sim surname household}. After that then you're done, so you can use the same tactic all around, however you do have to pay a few thousand Simoleons so make sure you have enough. And that's it. Enjoy!
I asked the single sim to move in with the couple Sims in order to move into the single sim's former home, which is now empty. However, the prompt is to move a household which is now a household of 3. How do you break it up?
