I bulit a house on the lot but when it is ready I cannot have it added..

Same thing is happening to me, I bought the family townhouse for §70,000 and now my sim that I added to it isn't on the sim tracker and so far there's 3 Sims in there..good thing was though when I got back in after adding my 3rd sim I took the big TV, stereo and the cool fridge:D but seriously I'm scared that if if I buy another house the same thing will happen, so does anyone have a solution we could use because this is happening to loads of people...

I understand there is no solution until there is a new update. EA, for once, sent me a very nice reply and said the fix is done and being tested but because of the time it takes to get it through Apple it will be about 2-4 weeks . We shall be overrun with Sims by then. They suggest we ignore the affected Houses as the fix will introduce a new sim who will clear out all the others.

Same thing happened to me with two consecutive Houses. The first one was an empty lot, appeared as complete, added Sim, then in Town View the house appeared as Under Construction with a blinking green house icon above it. Every time I clicked on the icon I had to add a new sim. After awhile I just went with it. Made the house added Sims and set them to farming.

Since none of those Sims showed up on the sim tracker, I sent a Sim from another house to visit the "phantom sim house" so I could jump to that house by clicking on the visiting sim in the sim tracker.

Some how when I was able to add a new house, the "phantom house" became real and the phantom Sims showed up on the tracker. But now I have a new phantom house full of phantom sims. They're earning me lots of money and XP, so I'm not complaining. Tried to create a new house but a message popped up saying I had to wait until level 32 to create a new sim (I'm on level 21). Oh well...
