Once your Sims have flirted etc enough to be partners, you will see an additional option available when they interact to "propose marriage." when you select this option it will open an interface (similar to the buy/build interface) which offers you a varied selection of rings. You must purchase one in order to propose- and if you skimp, be prepared for your sim to get rejected...I've had them say no to both the 10,000$ ring and the 5LP ring (and the dinosaur one of course) so far. ;)

Whoo I think you are supposed to buy one after your Sims are partners I've got rejected fron the5lp one so good luck

First your 2 Sims. Have to be partners and be moved in with each other. Then you need to be over level 10 to buy a ring then you click marry where you choose for them to talk

Must we be over Lv 10 or Lv 10 in order for the Sims to buy a ring for each other.
