How do you remove or turn furniture on the sims without removing the whole roomy

In build mode tap on the item and to remove it either sell it at half price (red Simoleons sign) or put it in inventory for later (nap sack). To move it tap on it and then tap on a new place and tap on the check mark to place it permanently .

You go into inventory. (go into the furniture shop and on the right hand side it says garden and inventory) once you are in inventory, you can press any of the furniture and either turn/move it, sell it, or put it in inventory to move to another Sims house or to sell later.

On Sims I can't move my classic cupboard I know how to move things but th cupboard doesn't show any buttons or a green line around it.
