Ghostwire: Tokyo Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should keep an eye for phone booths when you are exploring and why you should save your Magatama. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a beginners guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

Deposit your Souls

As you explore the world of Ghostwire: Tokyo you will use the Katashiro to absorb wayward souls. The Katashiro fills up quickly so make sure you keep an eye out for telephone booths as they will enable you to deposit the souls, so you can use the Katashiro again. You will come across plenty of telephone booths as you explore so make sure you make the most of them.

Save Your Magatama

You will be rewarded with Magatama when you complete quests in Ghostwire: Tokyo. Resist the temptation of spending them early on getting upgrades and instead save them as far better upgrades will become available later in the game and these generally cost 7 Magatama. One uprade you should consider getting first is Amenotori which is the grapple ability that allows you to summon a Tengu whenever you like. This will give you access to hidden items and loot. Take a look at our Best Skills Guide to find out what the best abilities are in Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Feed Stray Dogs

Using Spectral Vision you will be able to pet and give dog food to any stray dogs you find, and they will show their appreciation by showing you a hidden path you may have missed that will lead you to loot, money, and even treasure. Take a look at our How to Feed Dogs guide to find out how you can give dog food to the dogs you find.

Spend Your Meika

The currency used in Ghostwire: Tokyo is Meika and you should spend this coin often to purchase healing items, outfits, emotes, katashiro, KK's Notes, and other valuable items. If you are low on Meika you need to check your quests tab to see if you have any relic quests, also keep an eye out for Meika pots in the open world as these reward you with Meika.

Use Spectral Vision

Get in the habit of using Spectral Vision as it highlights many things around you that you would otherwise miss. These include food, treasure, items, and dogs. Spectral Vision will also highlight enemies which will enable you to prepare for encounters in advance. Take a look at our How to Use Spectral Vision guide to find out everything you need to know about this ability in Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Absorb Enemy Cores

The enemies you fight can be dealt a finishing blow once you have done enough damage that will enable you to absorb their core which will award you with bonus XP as well as give you a quick kill. Keep in mind that absorbing a core takes time and can leave you vulnerable to incoming attacks. Also, if enemies are close enough, you can absorb more than one core at the same time.
