Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Ok, So I'm on the Hyrule Castle level near the end of the game but i'm stuck. How do I open the gate where all those columns are? You know the ones that you have to use with your boomerang. Well any-way, What is the order I have to use to open it SPECIFICALLY! I saw that pattern next to the gate, but still no progress. Please help A.S.A.P.

You need to hit them in the shape of a lightning bolt - from the bottom side, hit the middle one, then go up-right, left and to the top...

The diagram and the pillars are set in the same way; follow the picture, and you'll get it right. I don't recall the exact pattern, but I think it's the top of the pyramid, the mid-left, straight over to mid-right, then down left again to the middle of the bottom. Or you can go backwards, mid-bottom to right-middle to left-middle to top, the first word being where on the second word line. Also in Hyrule Castle, just next to that wall you're stuck at, as a wolf you can see a hole you can dig through. Do so, and you'll find a sweet treasure cove, but it is kinda hard to obtain that treasure... Oh well, it's good.

You can do it.
