Question for Pokemon FireRed
PEOPLE HOW DO YOU GET THE LEGENDARY DOG POKEMON!!
Because I can't find them at all! I use repels in the grass near Pallet town!
I can't even get to battle it! I've not been able to even battle it!
Oh yeah people say that Scyther is in both games (fr/lg) but he isn't.

Well there is only one legendary dog in the game depending on the Starter you chose
Charmander=Suicune
Bulbasaur=Entei
Squirtle=Raikou
The dogs change the area they are in every time you change towns,routes and every time you enter a building.
When you first find it, the dog will run for the hills the first chance it gets try to put it to sleep or use mean look or spider web.
Then attack It. If it runs away the damage it has will stay from every battle
use ultra balls of the Master Ball!

To add to the above dude's answer...
After you see him once, you can use the area section of your Pokedex to track the legendary dog. This makes hunting him that much easier.
