For more in-depth insutrcuctions including a video of how to enter the code follow this link to the Rare Candy Cheat on our website.

  2. Master Ball Cheat

Usually there is only one master ball in any Pokemon game, and with it you have a guaranteed 100% success rate of catching any Pokemon that you throw this ball at. So this is why getting unlimited master balls is one of the most popular cheats in not only Pokemon Emerald but across all Pokemon games.

To use this cheat, simply go to any shop and enter and activate the following code in your cheat menu. You don't need a Master Code, just enter the following four lines of code as a single GameShark code.

  11. Catch Trainer's Pokemon

Here is a code to allow you to catch another trainer's Pokemon during battle. Make sure you have saved your game before trying out this code in case it goes wrong and you get a bad egg, more on this below the code.

    Master code

    D8BAE4D9 4864DCE5

    A86CDBA5 19BA49B3

Add this code as GameShark before adding the following code.

    Catch Other trainer Pokemon

    B6C5368A 08BE8FF4

    B8D95CFE 06ED6EA1

    E151C402 8A229A83

    8E883EFF 92E9660D

Activate both codes, and then while you are in battle, hold down l+r together before throwing your Pokeball and you should then catch your opponent's Pokemon.

    Bad Egg Warning

Some players may get a bad egg instead of the Pokemon, if this happens to do you don't save the game as you won't be able to get rid of the bad egg.

Getting a bad egg could depend on a number of things including the version of the game you are playing, and which emulator you are using.

For more details, and to read comments from other players about this code head over to this page on our site.

    12. No Random Battles

This no random battles codes is particularly useful when using the walk through walls code, because the last thing you want is a random encounter when you are in the middle of a hedge! It could well glitch your game. It's also a handy code to activate when you just want to run around within the game and not be disturbed by random encounters, which can be annoying!

    Master Code:

    9266FA6C97BD

    905B5ED35F81

    B76A68E5FAB1

    No Random Battles Code:

    32C96211F488

  12. Easy EXP Code

Activate this code and then go into battle to quickly gain EXP. Nice if you just want to quickly add a bit of EXP without touching any other cheats. When you have enough, just deactivate the code in the cheat menu.

    82000060270F

    82022D48270F

    82022F7C270F

    8202309C270F

    820241F0270F

For more info about this cheat, and to read any comments, follow this link.

  13. Unlimited Money

Enter the following code as a Gameshark or Action Replay code in the cheat menu of your emulator and you'll be on your way to getting infinite money in Pokemon Emerald.

    D8BAE4D9 4864DCE5

    A86CDBA5 19BA49B3

    A57E2EDE A5AFF3E4

    1C7B3231 B494738C

    C051CCF6 975E8DA1

Once it has been activated you simply check your trainer card to see the status of your money. Now with this cheat it will just give you some random digits in place of your actual money amount, but this will tell you that the code is working and you do indeed have infinite money. You can head to the Pokemart and purchase anything that you want. So if you need TMs, balls, rare candy, anything, head to the shop and take what you need. No need to be greedy though as youdo have unlimited money, so you don't have to fill all of your slots right away, just go back to the shop if you need more things later.

  14. Pokemon Max Stats

Stick a Pokemon in the first slot and use these codes to max their stats. You'll need to do each code one at a time or all together, just make sure to deactivate it when you are done. Your Pokemon should retain their max stats, but it won't continue to affect new Pokemon that you put into the first slot.

How to Use Pokemon Emerald Cheats

If you are using an emulator, then all you have to do is go to the cheat menu of your device, copy and paste the code you want, save it and activate it.

There are a couple of things to bear in mind though. Only have one cheat activated at the same time. The more cheats activated together, the more likely you will encounter glitches. Save your game before you activate cheats, and only save again once you are sure that there are no problems with your game.
