Mathilda

Description: Mathilda is one of the founding members of the Deliverance, alongside Clive, but she doesn't enter the story into Alm's Path in Act 3 when Alm and the Deliverance rescue her from execution by arrows in Desaix's Fortress. By far, Mathilda is definitely the best Cavalier in all of Alm's Path, perhaps even the whole game. In addition to her impressive base stats, she has incredible Growth Rates across the board, particularly her offensive Growth Rates. Her defenses are not the best, but she is still a fierce Lance User that you will bring with you throughout the game.
