Desaix

Description: Desaix is guilty of regicide against the royal family of Zofia, and his treachery puts in motion the events at the start of the game. He can first be battled in Act 1 at Zofia's Gate, but since most players will choose to fight Slayde instead, odds are you won't face him until Act 3 at the Siege of Desaix's Fortress. In that given battle, things are further complicated since you must keep Mathilda alive in order to recruit her. But with Clair focused on opposing archers, Alm and his Mages can slowly but surely defeat Desaix.
