Marriage & Childbirth

Marriage and childbirth have both been popular features associated with previous versions apart of the Fire Emblem Series, allowing players to direct their own romances and breed optimal soldiers by pairing specific units together. However, both of these aspects have been removed entirely from Fire Emblem Echos. This is primarily due to the fact that the original of Fire Emblem Gaiden didn't contain these features either, the same game that Fire Emblem Echoes is based upon. There are still a few elements of romance found within the story, but these are pre-determined and largely incidental, having no true bearing on your battlefield success.
