Differing System Versions

Unlike other games found on the video game market, Farming Simulator 18 is unique in the fact that it reaches many different consoles for many competing companies. Farming Simulator 18 can be purchased for three separating gaming consoles: the Nintendo 3DS, the PlayStation Vita, and on all iOS and Android Devices. Even though each is a little different from the next, Farming Simulator 18 is again unique in how most of the content is found from one versions to the next.

Of course, the most content and similarities are found between the versions available for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. By far, these two consoles have the best graphics for this fan favorite farming phenomenon; they also have a little more available content during careers compared to the mobile version. They can also be played on the go since both are on handheld portable systems, much like the mobile version of the game itself. However, with these enhanced graphics and gameplay comes a greater cost, usually between $20-25 more than that of the mobile app.

As for the mobile version of the game, it is clear the best thing it has going for it is its low, low price of only $5 to download. Sure, the graphics aren't as good, and it can be a real pain at times to have precision since you have to use your fingers to control all of the actions you take, but since you get virtually the same experience that you do with the handheld console versions, the price can't be beat. However, like many mobile apps on the market, there are a number of in-app microtransactional purchases that can be made, ones players should expect to spend a little on for quicker success.
