Great Scar Bear

To begin the hunt for the Great Scar Bear, head over to its location on the map.

Head inside the cave to begin the mission. This path also leads to another small area of the map so you may trigger the mission if you are just exploring.

Inside the cave you will find some cave paintings that tell of the ferocity of the Great Scar Bear. Investigate it to begin the mission.

Similar to tracking missions, just follow the red trail and investigate the occasional objects to further the quest.

The trail is rather long and there are various Izila scattered throughout the trail. You can kill or ignore them. You will eventually lead to the end of the trail and find out that a lot of Izila are hunting the bear. You can hide and let them do some damage to the bear. They will eventually be wiped out.

After getting its health down, it will run into the cave. Follow it and keep attacking it. After damaging it further, it will run away again.

Follow it again (you can use hunter vision to follow its scent) to find it in its lair. This is where you take it down.

When it goes down, it is now time to tame the beast to make it yours.

When you have tamed it, the mission is now complete.
