Eternal Sword M (ESM) follows the standard MMORPG formula. You have to create a character and complete various tasks and quests to strengthen your character and get better loot. However, since the game is designed for mobile devices, it sports an “auto” system that allows player characters to fight, travel, and complete quests automatically - which is really convenient as the game won’t need your full attention all the time.
There’s really no one central flow of gameplay but the general directive remains the same; complete quests, beat bosses in dungeons/instances, earn rewards, use those rewards to get better gear, upgrade your existing gear, level up your Mount, Familiar, and more. Some of these dungeons or instances have limited entries, which replenishes over time. That said, there’s really no need to devote long, continuous hours of gameplay to progress in the game.
