How to Escape Lab Rat

How to get the Donut and Generate Electricity

The first thing you need to do in the Escape Lab Rat puzzle is grab the newspaper next to the TV. Once you have the newspaper collect the spare change that is on the table that is in front of the TV and use it on the vending machine to acquire the donut by pressing C4 on the keypad. Now place the donut on the pile of rubbish that is next to the rathole which is opposite the vending machine. When the rat appears from the rathole to grab the donut you will be able to pick up Tumeric the Rat and place her inside the coil hamster wheel, so she generates electricity.

How to Connect the Generator to the Mainframe

There are three missing Power Tubes you need to find, these can be found:

- On the bench opposite Turmeric's cage.

- On the wall in the corner of the room, near the Sudoku hints.

- On the sofa in the break room.

Once you have collected all three Power Tubes, return to the main room and place them in the corresponding gaps, so you activate the yellow lasers that are in the middle of the room.

How to Deactivate the Lasers

If you interact with the laser control console and enter the password 'SAFER' you will now be able to interact with any of the five monitors. Enter Square, Circle, Square, Triangle, Circle. Once this code has been submitted you will be able to choose Viruses and input the binary code 1101, press 'Create' and pick up Virus Disc #13 which you can then use on the Persona monitor. You will now be presented with a puzzle on the disco light grid in the middle of the room which you will need to solve.

In order to complete this puzzle you need to identify which tiles you can step on by looking at the big screen in front of you (you need to step on the tiles that have the footprint icon and avoid those that have red skulls). Successfully solving this grid will unlock the server room which has a series of letter-coded switches with several color-coded buttons with small black shapes underneath. Here you need to press the letters E - B - D - H - F - G - C - A. The escape room will end when these letters have been input correctly.
