Take Handwritten Notes

It is essential that you take handwritten notes in Escape Academy as the puzzles that you need to solve don't just rely on placing objects in the right place or finding a hidden key. In order to successfully get the solution to each of the puzzles will rely on your ability to understand and solve logical puzzles, these will include Sudoku puzzles and deciphering lengthy coded phrases. There will be times when you will need information from a previous puzzle you have solved and having puzzle clues and solutions written down in a notepad that you can quickly refer to will help to make your escape times a lot quicker.

Consider Different Options

Each of the different puzzles in Escape Academy have a difficulty ranking on a scale from one to five. There is only one fifth-level puzzle and that is the final escape room. If you find yourself struggling to solve a puzzle in Escape Academy for whatever reason you may need to take a step back to determine if there is an alternate way that would enable you to solve it. Keep in mind that items can sometimes be used for more than one thing and discovering what other purposes they have may help you to solve the problem.

Interacting with Objects

You do not have to worry about anything bad happening to you in Escape Academy, what you do need to be careful of is interacting with something that will negatively affect your ability to solve a puzzle. It is therefore advised to avoid getting punished in this way that you don't touch and interact with objects until you have determined that it is safe to do so.

Talk to the Professors at the Faculty

It is important to remember that you can also interact with the world of Escape Academy through the school's faculty between puzzles. All the puzzles are themed around each professor's interests and history and by talking to them, you can give yourself an edge in solving the puzzles.

Play with a Friend

It is recommended that you play Escape Academy with a friend. Although the game allows solo play you will find that the co-op experience will enable you to get faster times as it allows you to talk through puzzles if you become stuck. Keep in mind also that puzzles often have two parts that are across the map from each other and by playing co-op with a friend these tasks will be a lot easier to complete.

Use Hints

There is no shame taking advantage of a hint if you are literally getting nowhere. The hint system in Escape Academy will give you hints for each stage of a puzzle, so you do not have to worry about spoiling your entire experience if you feel you need to use one in order to progress to the next stage.
