The Jetpack you have at the start of Elex II is useful when you want to reach a high place to explore, unfortunately they are not much use when you need to visit a far-off settlement that you have already been to. In order to do this you need to fast travel and this How to Fast Travel guide will tell you what you need to know to take advantage of this feature.
Unlike other similar RPG games fast travel can be done from almost anywhere in Elex II, the only time you will be unable to teleport is when you are engaged in combat. The process of unlocking fast travel in this game is easy, you simply have to keep an eye out for the strange looking white pads (see image above) that look out of place in the environment and approach them.
These white pads act as fast travel points and there are a total of 35 of them in the game. To activate teleporters, so you unlock their use in the map you need to step on it. Once you have stepped on it the fast travel point icon which is a rounded-off pyramid with a dot in the middle will then appear on your map. It is essential that you activate the fast travel points in the various areas of the map, so you are able to get a much larger range of the map to travel across at a moment's notice.
Take a look at our How to Upgrade the Jetpack to find out how you can unlock combat options, faster travel, and longer sustainability by upgrading it.
