Best Early Spell

The best early spell in Elden Ring is Rock Sling. It is especially effective when it is paired with the meteorite staff which you will be able to find nearby. The spell Rock Sling summons three orbs that track the targeted enemy, dealing huge damage at a small cost of FP. You will be able to find the Rock Sling spell by going to the Street of Sages ruins in Caelid. To reach this location go north-east of the Astray from Caelid Highway North site of grace. If you then head into the underground section of the ruins you will find the spell located in a solitary chest. Other spells you may want to consider that also effective in the early game are Glintstone Pebble and Carrian Slicer.
