Aside from having a formidable Army, employing the use of Tactics are beneficial when going into war. The game offers players a variety of Tactics that will help players in their attack. Some of the Tactics focus on repairing health while some focus on providing additional support to the army.

To avail of Tactics, players must spend some Food. Tactics are also available once you have a War Academy built. Another way to research Tactics is through the Blacksmith building.

The number of Tactics available shall depend on the level of your War Academy--in order to maximize the use of Tactics, it is important to upgrade your War Academy every time.

Barrage

This Tactic is one of the first tactics available as soon as you build the War Academy. It provides an area of effect damage (425 damage per second) on a specific location. This Tactic is effective against defending soldiers and is great to be used on multiple targets (like foot troops). Despite that, this Tactic is not so effective against cavalry and buildings.

This Tactic takes 35 minutes to be researched and has a radius of 3 squares.

This Tactic will also be upgraded once the War Academy has already been upgraded as well. Once the Tactic is upgraded, the damage will also be increased.

First Aid

This Tactic is also another tactic that is available as soon as the War Academy is built. It provides medical aid as it heals troops within the radius (5 squares). This Tactic provides heal amount depending on the percentage of the unit’s maximum hitpoints so it is most effective of troops with high hitpoints.

This Tactic is most effective on Generals and Cavalry, while it is not so effective when used on troops with low hitpoints.

This Tactic takes 40 minutes to be researched and has a duration of 8 seconds once used.

This Tactic’s heal amount also depends on the level of the War Academy, so the higher the level of the War Academy, the higher the heal percentage this Tactic will provide.

Sabotage

This Tactic becomes available once you have upgraded the War Academy to level 2. This Tactic disables a group of buildings for a certain time while allowing your troops to enter and deliver their attack. This Tactic, however, will only disable a certain defensive building for a certain time. The amount of time it will take to disable a defensive building shall depend on the level of the War Academy--so the higher the level of War Academy, the longer this Tactic shall disable a defensive building.

This Tactic takes 45 minutes to be researched and has an initial duration of 9 seconds once used.

Protect

This Tactic will become available once the War Academy is upgraded to level 3. This Tactic allows your troops to take half the damage for a certain time as it employs the use of superior armor and evasive tactics.

The Strength of this Tactic is best used during intense Battles. Once the War Academy is upgraded, the duration of the Tactic lengthens but not the damage reduction.

This Tactic takes 45 minutes to be researched and has an initial duration of 30 seconds.

Demolition

This Tactic becomes available once you have upgraded your War Academy to level 4. This Tactic causes high damage to a certain single building. With this, the Tactic’s main weakness is that it only affects one building only.

This Tactic takes 35 mintues to be researched and does not have a limited time duration.

Betrayal

This Tactic is available once you have upgraded your War Academy to level 5. This Tactic employs the ability to turn the tide by making your enemy troops fight for you and betray their commander. It is highly effective when used against cavalry troops. Its weakness, however, the chosen targets suffer damage and attack slower and Generals are immune.

Once the Tactic is upgraded, the Tactic’s damage is increased.

This Tactic takes a total of 40 minutes to be researched.
