Disintegration Cheats and Tips

PlayStation 4
Last Updated: by Dennis

Disintegration is an action-driven first-person sci-fi shooter that also has RTS elements. You play as Romer Shoal, an expert Gravcycle pilot, who leads a small band of Outlaws to fight back against an overwhelming Rayonne force. You do this by piloting a heavily armed Gravcycle while commanding your team on the ground as you battle through a single-player campaign or participate in PvP multiplayer. Check out our Disintegration cheats and tips to get help in the game.

Cheats, Tips and Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include how to get optional challenges and how to defeat tough enemies. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

Choosing a Crew

There are nine differnt crews available in Disintegration's multiplayer modes and each has their own uniqe weapon loadout, ground unit combination and Gravcycle stats that are tailored with a specific playstyle in mind. The key to being successful is to choose the right crew for every game type and situation. Check out our Best Crews Guide to find out which crews we consider to be the best for each of the three multiplayer modes in Disintegration.

Gravcycle Loadout

Romer Shoal's Gravcycle loadout is altered in certain ways when you reach the later levels in the single-player campaign. This will affect your playstyle, you will be able to upgrade your abilites so you can deal more damage while becoming more resistant in the process.

Gravcycle Scanning

Make sure you use your Gravcycle's scanning function from afar before upcoming combat encounters. Doing this will enable you to know what sort of adversary to prepare for next and also know where explosive items like red barrels and power cells are placed.

Optional Challenges

Before each level in single-player campaign you will be placed in a large hub area where you can talk with the members of your crew and other friendly NPC's. Make sure during this time you talk with as many of these NPC characters as you can as they give you optional challenges to complete during the upcoming mission. These Challenges are straightforward to complete and worthwhile doing as they grant Salvage caches and upgrade chips upon completion. Check out our Romer Shoal Guide to find out about the different missions in single-player campaign.

Defeating Tough Enemies

To efficiently defeat Disintegration’s more advanced adversaries you will need to strike a careful balance between direct engagement and using your team to set up clever counter-plays. Make sure you are familiar with the abilities each member of your crew has during a particular mission and look to see if you can use them to your advantage to help you handle that mission’s unique opposition.

Healing Fields

During each combat encounter keep an eye out for the red-armoured Merc Elite ground units as they drop a temporary AoE healing field when they are killed that can heal you and your team. These healing fields are especially useful during tough fights when you don't have a healing auxiliary weapon as part of your loadout or there are not any healing stations nearby.

We hope these tips help you out in the game, but for further help, try our beginners guide, we also have some FAQs for Disintegration, you can also submit your own questions there for other players to answer.
