The nightmare of mensis is another required map in the game in order to complete the story. This place can only be accessed through the 2nd floor lecture building and only after you have defeated The One Reborn.

As you enter the nightmare of mensis, you will immediately be greeted by a tunnel where skulls will be surrounding you. As you step out of the tunnel, go right and upward the hill - kill one Werewolf and some Monster Worms. After this, continue on up to where you will find a hunter’s corpse that will give you Frenzied Coldblood.

At the top of the hill, there you will have spears attacking you from a distance that will increase your Frenzy so make sure to avoid getting spotted. Proceed and enter the area and turn right and go up to the side. Go straight and into a small elevator room pass the Boulder Giants and light up a lantern.

Go back down and into the arena and run towards the stairs and cross the bridgeway. Go up into the building where there will be tons of spiders waiting for you. The available drops to loot are usually Quicksilver Bullets.

Kill the Giant Spider which may attack you with its really long legs.

Go Straight and find the entrance. Upon reaching this, turn right and enter the hallway. You may get Madman's Knowldedge and Frenzied Coldblood. Back up a bit and cross the bridgeway where two spiders are waiting. Go straight where you will find a corpse, in a praying position, which will give you a Shaman Bone Blade

Turn right into the bridgeway where a hunter is waiting for you. This Hunter will drop a Sedative once defeated. Enter the arched doorway and in the left there will be a chest which will give you Yellow backbone.

Go down the stairs where you will meet non-aggressive Midget Knights. One corpse on the side will give you frenzied Coldblood. These Midget Knights may attack you if you attack one of them or provoke them. The hallway is open in the middle. There will be a corpse that will give you Madman's Knowledge

To get to Area With holes

Go up the hill, and into the building. At the end of the room turn right and cross the bridgeway. Go down and turn right where ther is a small elevator room which will lead you outside to the hills of nightmare of mensis.

Continue to go down the stairs where more Midget Knights await. As the floor is riddled with open traps, dodging around may be difficult especially when these Midget Knights try to push you out and when more Arrow-Throwing Midget Knights are abound.

You may get Lead Elixir from one of the corpses hanging . At the end there will be an elevator that will take you up. Exit the door which will bring you to a balcony. There will be Rabid Dogs and Giant Crows waiting for you. . Go up the stairs on the right. There will be elevators waiting. Go into the small room where there will be a bridgway. There may be skeletons which will attack you.

Enter a hallway and there where a cutscene shall commence and when your battle with Micolash, Host of the Nightmare begins. Micolash will be running around in a maze-like room. Try looking for him and once you do, prepare to use a Charged Attack on him. Micolash may have several duplicates in the room so keep a watchful eye when chasing him around.

Once he is defeated, you will be given a Mensil’s Cage. There will also be a corpse which will grant you Madman’s Knowledge.

Afterwards, a cutscene will commence where a gate will be opened and where a bridgeway will be revealed.
