One of the gadgets in Battlefield 2042 is the wingsuit, which allows you to glide around the map and travel behind enemy lines undetected. This How to Use the Wingsuit guide will tell you everything you need to know about this gadget.
The Wingsuit can only be used by the Specialist Emma 'Sundance' Rosier. Her Ability, Wingsuit Operator, allows her to deploy the wingsuit instead of a parachute. This ability is only available to her, while the rest of the specialists in your squad will only deploy a parachute. In order for Sundance to use this gadget, she must find a high-enough ledge from which to jump off. Once you have found an elevation high enough and jumped off, you will get a button prompt at the bottom of the screen to deploy the wingsuit.
Once Sundance is airborne, you will be able to control her wingsuit with standard flight controls. Simply move the left stick of your controller down to go up and hover in place, or move the stick of your controller up to go down and gain speed. You can move her left or right by moving the stick of your controller in the direction you want to go. When you want to land you need to fly down close to the ground and undeploy the wingsuit by pressing the Circle (PlayStation) button on your controller. Make sure you close the wingsuit when you are near to the ground because if you hit the ground too hard, you run the risk of getting hurt or even dying.
