Knowing how to Perfect Dodge to avoid taking damage in Babylon's Fall is crucial against the enemies you face, performing the maneuver requires timing and knowing the controls when it comes time. This How to Perfect Dodge guide will tell you everything you need to know.
Perfect Dodge is a mechanic in Babylon's Fall that you need to become competent at in order to survive in the game. To perform a Perfect Dodge you need to wait for your foe to glow briefly to indicate they are getting ready for an attack and then dodge a split second after the flash, so you avoid the actual attack. If you time the maneuver correctly you will dematerialize and blink back in to existence, giving the illusion of impossibly fast movement. During this brief moment in time you will be able to get a few solid counterattacks in, preserve your combo, and not take any damage.
There is no training ground where you can practice Perfect Dodge, so it is recommended that you use enemies as practice for this early in the game. All factions in Babylon's Fall are capable of this maneuver. In order to perform a Perfect Dodge you need to press the 'evade' button (R1 on PlayStation and RB for the Xbox controller).
