Babylon's Fall How to Craft Guide

Crafting in Babylon's Fall is an important feature that is unlocked through story progression. Once crafting has been unlocked you will have the ability to create new weapons and armor for your character. Take a look at our Crafting Guide to access it.

Crafting is not available at the start of Babylon's Fall, in order to unlock this feature you must progress to and complete the Volcanic Cloister, which is the third area of the tower. After you have defeated Moira in the boss battle you need to return to the Sentinal HQ so that you can speak to the blacksmith at the Forge known as Ishum. Talking to Ishum will begin a dialogue that will lead to opening the Forge tutorial that will teach you the basics on materials and recycling.

In order to craft in Babylon's Fall you will need a blueprint of the item you want to create and the required materials. At this point in the game you will already have some crafting resources in your inventory, but blueprints will need to either unlocked or purchased. You will immediately be able to purchase blueprints at Pygmalion's shop for 10,000 Conches each, but you will not be able to see what materials are required to craft the item. To find out if you have the required resources you need to check at the Forge by viewing the locked piece of equipment you want to craft.

If you do not want to spend Conches purchasing blueprints you can unlock them by completing quests. The easiest way to complete quests quickly is to play Babylon's Fall with friends. Only certain quests will give you a blueprint as a reward but crafting materials and Conches are guaranteed when you complete a quest. You can also earn blueprints by story progression and from Skirmishes and Sieges once those features become available later in the game.

Keep in mind that the materials that you need for crafting items at the Forge vary depending on what type of weapon or armor piece you are trying to craft. You will discover that lots of the items share the same resource requirements, so you will need to prioritize the gear you want the most. Some crafting materials can be purchased at the Pygmalion's shop, but they will quickly become unavailable once you have purchased them a few times. You will be able to acquire some less common crafting materials through the Babylon's Fall Battle Pass but going this route to get them takes longer than completing quests where you can use Item Booster to increase the number of materials you gain from each quest.
