Top 10 Playstation Games that need to be on PSOne Classics

2. Mega Man Legends

Okay, maybe I'm cheating a bit on this one: The main reason I'd like to see Mega Man Legends on the PSOne Classics area is because it'll pave the way for its superior sequel, Mega Man Legends 2, to be re-released on the platform. Seeing as the story to the first game is important to the second, it'd be a shame for Capcom to skip the first game because its gameplay isn't as polished, as new players might miss some of the plot threads that continue from the first Legends title into the second.

But just because Mega Man Legends is the inferior of the two titles in the series doesn't really make it a bad game. For those that haven't played it, Legends is quite different from the Mega Man norm in a variety of ways. The entire game plays out in 3D, which immediately gives it a different feel from earlier 2D entries. Also, Legends is far more story-based than other series in the Mega Man franchise, offering an interesting (if somewhat over the top) cast of characters to interact with and a plot that actually worth seeing to its completion.

Mega Man Legends is actually a bit clunky to control… but that's because when the game released, the DualShock hadn't been introduced on the market. With a PSOne Classics re-release, it'd be likely players could use the analogs to control Mega Man, making one of the bigger problems with the title a problem of the past. Also, with Capcom making a big push to re-release many of their Mega Man titles on their respective distribution platforms, it would seems unfair if Legends was left out of the fun.
