The fifth game in the Zelda series is not only the funnest game in the series with beautiful graphics, but it was the toughest. But that is not why it makes this list.

It makes the list because it stands even yet as perhaps the most complete game experience that has ever been created in terms of story, structure, immersion, and quality. No effort was spared and, what is more important, no shortcuts were taken, and that is not something that very many games can claim.

The use of altered physics, altered mechanics, and grief-code shortcuts to smooth over what are often considered to be the unimportant bits in games, from minor boss battles to the transitions between acts were not used in Ocarina of Time. Instead of taking the easy route and saving time and effort each and every segment of each act in the story was carefully created and played out in all of its glory.

If you don't think this one should make the list, you have never played it.
