09. Dragon Age: Origins (2009 BioWare)

This was the game that caused gamers to really question the issue of how love applies and whether it is really right to judge. Well, that and we got to kill lots of mobs and bosses in a world that was highly immersive, filled with joy and excitement, and left you wanting more each time you were forced to turn it off from exhaustion.

Origins was an ambitious game that very quickly pulled the player into the story to such a depth that nearly every decision and conversation was cause for careful consideration. How would this effect the relationship with that character? Would it have an impact on relationships with other characters? Would it change the story arc? How much? At times you did not know what to do and so found yourself second-guessing yourself.

Now that is the mark of a good adventure!
