How to Use Nintendo GameCube Controllers

The Nintendo GameCube controller is the controller for the GameCube.The Wii is able to utilize this for GameCube games, Virtual Console games, and select Wii games (including Super Smash Bros. Brawl). It is possible to play Wii games with the Gamecube controller.

Note: GameCube controllers generally only work when playing GameCube games on the Wii console. Only Wii consoles with model number RVL-001 are compatible with Nintendo GameCube accessories.

What to do:

1. Insert the controllers into the Nintendo GameCube controller sockets on the side of the Wii console.





2. Player One is the controller socket nearest the front of the system.





3. Review the instruction booklet for the game you are playing for the number and position of controllers required for that specific game.
