How to Create a Mii

A Mii is a digital avatar used in Nintendo's Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS gaming consoles. They allow users to capture a likeness (or a caricature) of themselves, others, or invented characters. After creating one using the Wii's Mii Channel or the Nintendo 3DS's/Wii U's Mii Maker, they can be used as playable characters in various titles for each of the named consoles.

Note: Only 100 Mii Characters can be stored in the Mii Plaza.

1. From the Wii Main Menu, select the Mii Channel then Start.





2. Select the New Mii button.





3. Select Male or Female.





4. Select Start From Scratch or Choose a Look-alike.




If choosing a look-alike, select the Mii that most closely resembles the desired look twice, then select Use This Face.


5. Create Mii or Use the Mii Feature Edit Menu to edit the Mii.



6. Select Quit.





7. Select Save and Quit to finish.
