How to Connect the Wii to the Internet With a Wired Connection

The Wii have features that require internet connection. such as downloading games, online play and system update. internet connection is required to perform these task.

Follow these steps:

1. Turn on your Wii console and press A using Wii Remote to reach the Wii Main menu and select Wii button.





2. Select Wii Settings to access System Settings Menu

3. Use the arrow on the right side of the screen,scroll to page two and select Internet.





4. Select Connection Settings.





5. Select an empty Connection Slot.





6. Select Wired Connection.





7. Then select OK on the next screen. At this point your Wii console will attempt to make a connection with your wired router.





8. If the connection test succeeds, then your Wii is now connected to the internet.
