This game is ment to take time. If you want to be able to beat it you must simply fight the other monsters and gain sphere levels then use power, mana, speed, and ability spheres to up your stats and magic/skills.

The only way you can defeat it is to brake his shell...try to hit him until it go sleep,and use yuna's overdrive,call anima an make his overdrive...after the shell broken you can finish him normaly...

You have to have complete the Sphere Grid Tutorial and you have to enter them after. You already know that though.

In order to enter the codes in you need the Master Code and a GameShark Disk, which if you don't have your going to have to buy one. The Master Code, must be the one entered first for the others to work. Codes can mess up your game, which is a warning, so make sure you use good ones that aren't fakes.

When you get the disk, you can put those codes in and online you can find out how to do so. There are many walk throughs and videos to show you how. The two line master code is needed, like I said, but not all are the same for the like locations. Japan is different from America of course, but any ways here is the Master Code I know of.

Well, to get auron's overdrives, you need to find Movie Spheres.
Overdrive 1: Dragon Fang-Default
Overdrive 2: Shooting Star- 1 Sphere
Overdrive 3: Banishing Blade- 3 Spheres
Overdrive 4: Tornado- 10 Spheres
The locations are:
Jecht's Sphere 1: The first sphere received at Macalania after defeating the boss. The first part shows the group leaving Bevelle, Jecht is carefree and wants a parade. At Macalania, Jecht attempts to record a message to Tidus, showing how he has matured and accepted his fate.

Jecht's Sphere 2: Found in the Macalania woods. Braska visits Jecht in prison and invites him to join the Pilgrimage as a Guardian.

Jecht's Sphere 3: Found near the temple at Besaid Village. Braska asks Auron to bring Yuna to Besaid after the Pilgrimage.

Jecht's Sphere 4: Found on the S.S. Liki in the Captain's room. Braska, Jecht and Auron discuss Zanarkand.

Jecht's Sphere 5: Found in the locker room at Luca. Jecht, Braska and Auron talk about a Blitzball match and Jecht wonders about Tidus.

Jecht's Sphere 6: Found on the Mi'ihen highroad. Jecht is eager to fight the Chocobo Eater (mirroring Tidus earlier in the game), which appears offscreen, and the group prepares to battle it. The outcome of the battle is unknown.

Jecht's Sphere 7: Found at the Moonflow. Auron chews out Jecht after he attacked the Shoopuf. Jecht vows to quit drinking.

Jecht's Sphere 8: Found at the Thunder Plains. Auron films Braska and Jecht on the Plains. Jecht is struck by lightning.

Auron's Sphere: Found on the Mushroom Rock Road. Auron says farewell to Kinoc shortly before leaving with Braska.

Braska's Sphere: Found on Mt. Gagazet on a side road on the first screen. Braska's final message to Yuna.

You can find the spheres along the way, but if you missed some, finish off yunalesca and gain access to the airship. You can go back to their locations and find them.

As with all boss battles levelling up (sphere grid) and maxing overdrive gauges before hand is useful.

Extractor: 4000 hp

To start it would be useful to use lightning strike weapons for Wakka and Tidus. You'll also find haste and slow come in handy.

The extractor will attack twice using aqua shooter then on the 3rd attack extractor will swim up and attack with depth charge explosion, which will inflict darkness status effect.

You can disrupt this attack by inflicting 500 damage, the extractor will return back to fight normally. If you have trouble assign one character to use potions to keep health up, whilst the other continues to attack.
