1. Fill-up those nodes - when you fill-in a node on your base (with a bot of your choice), it would not only give you an extra level of defense from raiding players, but also generate gold for you overtime. You can use your spare fighters to fill-in the node, but note that the higher their tier levels and stars, the more gold they’ll be able to produce.

2. Enemy class breakdown - when putting together your roster of fighters for a mission, be sure to check the enemy class breakdown by pressing the icon sitting next to the “Edit Squad” button. This button shows you a table indicating exactly how many enemies you are to expect in the level as well as their Classes. Of course, be sure to familiarize yourself with the class chart as well. Simply with this, you can effectively put up a group that would be advantageous in every encounter.

3. Replay Missions to Explore 100% of the Chapters and Act - check your completion ratings in every given chapter in the game. If by any chance you missed out on anything while taking an alternate route, replay the mission and make sure you explored everything. Upon completing 100% of every given act, you’ll receive a 3-Star Bot Crystal in addition to the Premium Bot Crystal you get for just beating the act. On top of all this, you will earn more Energon everytime you fully explore a level.

4. Join Open Alliance at Level 5 - Joining Alliances will be available as soon as you reach level 5. The game automatically opens up Alliances with vacancy for you to join in. An alliance will propel you through the game as it opens up tons of benefits, like receiving help (in the form of energy) from members on your alliance, extra Resources (as reward) for joining an alliance, and a premium bot crystal (with guaranteed 2-4 star bot).

You also may call for assistance from alliance members when your base is being raided or vice versa when lending help to your alliance when they are in need. When you help or donate Resources to the alliance, you’ll earn Loyalty Points. When you've earned much of these points, you'll get to purchase Alliance Crystals which gives you assortments of items including 2-star bots.

5. "Not So" Complicated UI - although the game's main hub may overwhelm you the first time you play the game, it is relieving to know every nook and cranny will provide you the information you want, and need to know. It shares minute details like when will a feature be unlocked and its requirements. A small detail that a lot of players miss when they dive into the game.

6. Forge - The title of the game won't have the word "forge" in it for no reason. Forging becomes available as soon as you collect 13 or more bots. It's basically a nifty way to "eliminate" weaker bots in your inventory in exchange to strengthening a specified "Forged" bot. In addition to this, forging a bot awards bonus prizes in addition to providing Forge XP. Remember that they carry their Forge XP forward - meaning the higher their forge level is, the more Forge XP they provide.

7. Performance Indicator - If by any chance you are having a hard time completing missions, this is probably telling you that you need to upgrade the fighters in your roster aside from carefully designing your class combinations. Upon reaching level 30 in the game, you'll be able to bring 5 bots with you in the group, which means you can actually put up a very versatile combination of fighters with little to no weakness at all. Nonetheless, make sure to put a gap between you and the opponent's battle rating to give you leeway in the fight. Remember that these are all AI controlled and at the latter levels, almost god-like fighters when it comes to the battles.
