transformers: forged to fight makes use of tap and swipe gestures to fiddle with your respective fighter giving it the combination of attacks, sidesteps, and blocks. The game does not waste time introducing its basic mechanics as a comprehensive tutorial sequence will readily introduce you with the basic make-up of the game as well as its controls.
In this game's Story mode, your bot wanders through fixed waypoints arranged in every given stage. Affixed in these waypoints are items or enemy encounters from which you get to play your arcade matches. You also start off with Optimus prime in this game, shortly thereafter, you'd be rewarded a 1-star crystal from which you may earn your second bot by dragging it to a bot-generating machine called the "space bridge". Early in the game too, you will be introduced with ways on how to earn these new bots, how to unlock slots and pick your roster of fighters, leveling, and of course on how to make them stronger.
Upon a successful run-through of the tutorial stage (entitled: The Beginning), you'll be left to explore the game's main UI from which you get to run courses of action within your battle center (which seems to be your city in similar games), unlock a bot from Crystals, upgrade them, and then later on access one on one battles with other gamers and the like. Most importantly, you get to customize your profile starting with your player name to save your progress.
And though the UI might be too elaborate for you to get a hold off in one sitting, each has its description to help you understand each icon or tab's dedicated function/s.
