trouble in detroit!

I just unlocked detroit but I struggle to win the tuner races and the first tournament (i lost by a point:( ), I have a dodge viper are with all the 1st upgrade stuff. What cars should I get to help or what should I do coz I want to get the class a cars ty.:)

I whould win some races to get new parts for the Viper and Upgrade it as far as you can to beat them. Thats what I did.
