You can unlock the camera in any mission breifing... Although I'm not sure about the mission breifing before the first mission, I always forget to watch it... Use the Mk. II during an interactive mission breifing, and look behind the computer desk that Sunny always uses. (By the stairs.) If you wait until the fourth briefing, it will contain some photos of Sunny and Naomi messing around in the kitchen.

While in breifing switch to control the mgII, then get to the second floor of the Nomand, it should be there, somewhere. I suggest you wait until Naomi comes and leave, then the camera should have a little bonus...
