Liberty city will be about the same size as San Andreas. There are also other cities and islands so all in all there should be a much bigger environment to explore than any previous GTA.

Infact, this may lead you to disbelief, but Liberty City's map space, will be smaller than San Andreas. Albeit much, much denser, with absolutely no wasted space, just like New York itself.

There will be no dead areas, such as huge, open spaced deserts, and dams, and such, just livin' the life.

It'll be divided into islands like in vice city and GTA:3.
It'll take alot longer to unlock them though.
