need help with raw announcer

In svr 08 I have a problem that the raw announcers wont talk for some reason and I can't beat the game because it wont let me do the royal rumble on exhibition mode. It lets me do it in 24/7 but in exhibition the first 2 superstars come out the 3 one comes out but it don't play the song for him then nobody comes out the smackdown and ecw announcers talk but in raw the say one sentence then theyre done talking can anyone tell me what the problem is with the game is there any way I can fix it can you change the royal rumble to smackdown or ecw announcers plezzzzzzz help!!!

Hmmm, well, it seems like it is just yet another glitch found in Smackdown vs raw 2008. I do not really know what to tell you. I know sometimes when my announcers are not saying anything, I will climb up on the top rope, or do a taunt, and that will usually get them to start talking again. When that does not work then I will just press the start button to bring up the menu. Then, I will close it, and they will start talking again.
As for the royal rumble problem, I really don't know, sorry. You shoul get your game swapped out for another one.

Dude... Your game DVD has given up... What that means is either you have played it for so long that it has scratched out or you purchased a Pirated Version, which lasts for only this long... Try cleaning the Disc with some water and then see... But my advice is to purchase a new one.

Ok this looks to be a serious problem but I just advise you to either quit the game, restart the console, or even restart the match. It might work.

Alright try cleaning the disc and if that doesn't work I suggest trading it in and buying a new one(at a different store)

Go to the options menu and go to sound options and put the announcer volume up to 100 if it doesnt work trade it in and buy a new one
