How do you defeat the kut ku in the misson jungle menace, everybody says that a good set of armor and a good weapon then it should be a peice of cake, but I have the velociprey armor and dual bone scythes and I still can't kill it?

1st you don't need them dual swords you need a great sword or a powerfull lance 2nd make pitfall traps lure him in and hit him silly with your great sword, when you used 1 pit fall trap throw them flash bombs at it and again hit him sick,or while hes dazed make another pitfall trap an keep doing this untill hes d-e-a-d.

Okay the way I did it was like this make sure you have enough money and buy an arbalest then get crag and pellet shots, start the quest and shoot at it. It will look at you and charge but since you are on the ledge go to area 7 in the jungle you see a ledge where the vespoid is at jump up there (note kill the velociprey first as it makes it MUCH!!!!! Easier).

Okay now put out raw meat in a patch anywhere now run back to the ledge and wait when you see the yian kut ku, get out your bow gun and (note get all the way to the wall) it can't hit you at all it will just miss and run at the wall if it runs away then put out some more raw meat.

Well for me it's easy since I have full cephalos armour and a Great Serpant Blade which I'm aiming for everything as rathalos. All I do is use rolls and tactics, I use no bit fall traps and nothing. The best way I say to beat one of these is toknow how it moves befor it does sertain moves as I have with almost every monster I've faced.

Take a cephalos for example (if you don't know what a cephalos is then you might know if I call it a sand shark) if it's ganna spit sand at you it goes under the sand and then jumps up a little forwards, if it's going to divbe at you it will stop and waggle it's tail then launch itself, if it's standing on it's feet it will swing it's head up the spit at you, and there are a phew more but can't be bothered. So it's not the weapon you use but how you use em, and the best sword to fight it with is a great sword.

P.S.
"sand sharks" AKA cephalos are my fraviatest wyvern to fight (yes it's a wyvern but it's also the weakest of all)
