Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Questions

Hey night_of_shadow are you sure you have to hit all the 64 kerotans to get the stealth because I could only find 60 of them... including all from the chasing sequences.

Ok spartacusblade this is long and has taken me a long time to do so be grateful, I don’t normally do, ok, yes there is 64 frogs and these are the locations:
THE FIRST 5 ARE IN THE VIRTOUS MISSION AND THE REST ARE IN OPERATION SNAKE EATER

1) Dremuchji South: when standing on the branch where you find your backpack, look to the southeast. The Kerotan is standing on the top of the hill.
2) Dremuchji Swampland: Go to the tree in the northeast of the area. Look to the southeast, and you’ll find the Kerotan on the embankment.
3) Dremuchji North: The Kerotan is standing on the tree in the east – it’s easier to spot when you look from the north.
4) Dolinovodno: The Kerotan is standing on top of the post closest to you on the left hand side.
5) Rassvet: Look through the hole in the wall on the left of the stairway, in a northerly direction. You will see the Kerotan
6) Dremuchji East: A Kerotan is standing n the western area between the tree trunks and the hollow logs on the ground.
7) Dremuchji South: There is a Kerotan in the southwest of the area, on top of the embankment.
8) Dremuchji Swampland: The Kerotan is west of the swamp hole, behind a tree.
9) Dremuchji North: In the centre of this area, climb up the tree and look west when on the branch.
10) Dolinovodno: You’ll see the Kerotan standing on the right side of the northern end of the bridge.
11) Rassvet: The Kerotan is under the stairway.
12) Chyornyj Prud: Dive down at the tree on the right where you found the Crocodile Hat in the water. You will find the Kerotan to left of the trunk.
13) Bolshaya Past South: On the right of the passage in the northern fence, you can find a Kerotan on the ground between several trees.
14) Bolshaya Past Base: Enter the building and look under the table in the barracks.
15) Bolshaya Past Crevice: DURING THE BATTLE WITH OCELOT, look to the south while you are in the south west corner. The Kerotan is on the other side of the crevice.
16) Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch: In the chamber with the NVG, you can find the Kerotan high on the South wall.
17) Chyornaya Peschera Cave: After the fight against “The Pain”. A Kerotan will be standing at the edge of the gapping hole in the ceiling.
18) Chyornaya Peschera Cave Entrance: Step carefully into the chamber with claymore mines and above the entrance there is the Kerotan.
19) Ponizovje South: A Kerotan stands just a few metres away from the entrance on the left shore.
20) Ponizovje West: Dive down in the centre of the northern quay wall. The Kerotan is underwater, in the tube, behind the bars.
21) Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior: In the southwest you will see a flood gate. The Kerotan is standing of the left pole of the flood gate.
22) Ponizovje Warehouse: A Kerotan is standing on one of the beams under the ceiling. You can see him if you stand at the southern wall, then face north and look straight up.
23) Graniny Gorki South: The Kerotan is standing on a branch to the left of the northern exit. If you trip the snare trap you can’t miss him.
24) Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior: Outside Walls: Get in front of the hole leading to the inside walls. The Kerotan is standing on the embankment to the west.
25) Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior: Inside Walls: Moving from the west, look through the window into the small building in the southeast.
26) Graniny Gorki Lab: A Kerotan is standing on the lockers in the southeast corner of the ground floor. (There is not one on the upper level)
27) Graniny Lab B1 East: A Kerotan stands brazenly in the prison cell at the rear – use the first-person perspective to hit it.
28) Graniny Lab B1 West: There is a Kerotan in the lobby, in front of the locker containing the Handkerchief. Punch him.
29) Svyatogornyj South: The Kerotan is standing in the southwest corner. On the ledge above the door.
30) Svyatogornyj West: On the left, next to the hollow tree in the southwest. 31) Svyatogornyj East: In the bedroom of the cabin, there is a Kerotan standing on the shelf. 32) Sokrovenno South: Kerotan stands on the ridge directly behind the northeast corner of the armory. 33) Sokrovenno West: Crouch down at the end of the stream in the south, where the water disappears.
34) Sokrovenno North: In the south of this area you’ll find a tree trunk. On the left side of it look south – you’ll see a Kerotan on the ground standing next to a tree.
35) Krasnogorje Tunnel: You can find a Kerotan before the long ladder; he’s on the floor behind one of the arches on the left.
36) Krasnogorje Mountain Base: In the front of the exit to Krasnogorje Mountainside, look up to the rock on the upper left.
37) Krasnogorje Mountainside: The Kerotan is standing on the bunker roof.
38) Krasnogorje Mountaintop: There is a Kerotan in the southeast corner of the area, look from the bunker.
39) Krasnogorje Mountaintop: Behind Ruins: The Kerotan is on the tower on the right of Groznyj Grad, above the “07” sign; you have to use the SVD.
40) Krasnogorje Mountaintop Ruins: The Kerotan is on the shelf above the bed.
41) Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel: DURING THE BATTLE WITH “THE FURY” When you first start the first go left into the next corridor and then look up at the pipes, you may have to move south a little to see him.
42) Groznyj Grad Southwest: Go to the bunker in the middle at the western border and look through the gap made by the slightly ajar doors.
43) Groznyj Grad Southeast: Climb on top of the prison. The Kerotan is in the southeast corner.
44) Groznyj Grad Torture Room: A Kerotan is under the desk in the prison office.
45) Groznyj Grad Northwest: The Kerotan is standing on the stairs between the watchtower and the West Wing building.
46) Groznyj Grad Northeast: Crawl into the sewers, you’ll see him behind the bars at the end of the cul-de-sac.
47) Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing: On the upper floor, in the room in the northwest corner, the Kerotan is standing on the bookcase.

49) Tikhogornyj: At the southern end of the stream, look under the fallen tree.
50) Tikhogornyj: Behind Waterfall: Go to the end of the room, next to the ladder, and look up.

52) Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: Main Wing B1: DUIRNG THE FIGHT WITH “THUNDERBOLT” AKA VOGIN Look up at the ledge in the southwest corner.
53) Groznyj Grad: Bike Chase 1: The Kerotan is on the spotlight of the watchtower when EVA stops the first time.
54) Groznyj Grad Runway South: Bike Chase 2: When EVA stops the first time in the second area you will see the Kerotan on the driver’s seat of the forklift.
55) Groznyj Grad Runway: Bike Chase 3: On one of the signs on the left, next to the runway, you’ll see a Kerotan on the same level as the first plane parked on the left.
56) Groznyj Grad Runway: Bike Chase 4: In the second area, a Kerotan is standing on the right, just before you reach another runway.
57) Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge: A Kerotan is standing on the rear arch under the bridge. You can only see him if you are standing.
58) Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge: DURING THE FIGHT WITH VOLGIN/SHAGOHOD It’s on the building at the lower end of the tower.
59) Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge North: At the end of the area, you will see some barricades, it is between the barricades.
60) Lazorevo South: After about 10 seconds you can find a Kerotan in front of a rock on the left of the path
61) Lazorevo North: After about 10 seconds you can find a Kerotan on top of a rock on the left of the path.
62) Zaozyorje West: At the tree trunk leading across the crevice on the west path, look down into the depths in the southeast.
63) Zaozyorje East: Look for the tree at the intersection. A Kerotan is standing directly behind it.
64) Rokovoj Bereg: DURING THE BATTLE WITH “THE JOY” AKA THE BOSS On top of a tree south of the centre area.
